Develop and run training programmes to users of Lawmaker and other production software
Develop and run test scripts to ensure that new versions of Lawmaker are thoroughly tested before deployment
Provide additional resilience to user groups to ensure that there are no single points of failure during the rollout of Lawmaker and thereafter
Work with Commons users to identify and troubleshoot issues when using Lawmaker, rectifying them or escalating to the development team if necessary
Work closely with colleagues in the House of Lords and other specialist resource to monitor and support the new system during the critical initial implementation period
Act as a business representative for software development teams to provide House specific knowledge and testing as required
Requirements :
Experience of using xml-based document management and publishing systems in a complex work environment, ideally with a large and diverse user base. A good working knowledge of structured data (XML and HTML).
Ability to work collaboratively across teams, both internal and external, to assess priorities and goals for the development of Lawmaker. Ability to negotiate and communicate with colleagues at all levels to achieve shared goals whilst upholding values of equality, diversity and inclusion.
Ability to create and coordinate test programs with the goal of identifying pinch points. Experience of balancing priorities and managing requests from different teams at the same time.
Ability to create and deliver training on publishing systems across all levels of the organisation.
Ability to communicate effectively with users across various teams to share tailored updates to distinct groups of colleagues such as production, senior reporting officers and content validation teams.
