1.Project to improve accounting reporting out of Proactis and Sun systems, working with the system consultants. Including; a) Produce analysis and support for budget holders to ensure the best value for money. To spot and identify trends using analysis on Excel and Proactis. b) Improve reporting relating to new Fixed Assets module c) To improve and automate the monthly management accounts and reporting.

2 To lead project to investigate Invoice scanning system, with the view of efficiencies in Accounts Payable data processing.

3 To Lead project to replace sales system for commercial courses, ensuring links to data system.

4 Monitoring of Sun and Proactis financial systems, including controls over users, authorisation levels and user set ups. Ensure financial controls being adhered to by checking transactions and reviewing financial data. Highlighting any issues and suggesting improvements.

5 Review and approval of purchase orders to ensure financial regulations are being followed and purchases represent value for money.

6 Liaison with internal and external auditors. Ensure information shared is accurate and timely.

7 Project accounting. Provide the financial planning and surety to any finance project in the college through costing, reporting and analysis. This includes a significant capital project.
