They will work collaboratively, building strong relationships internally and externally to understand charity's ambitions, objectives and delivery plans.
Take the lead on measuring and reporting for all aspects of financial performance (income, costs, cashflow) for the 5 year strategy
Liaising with the Head of Finance to highlight strategic risks, proposing relevant risk mitigation action.
Preparing all management account schedules and journals so that income and expenditure are accounted for in line with relevant accounting principles
Preparing draft statutory financial statements for review by the Head of Finance
Responsible for the maintenance of appropriate records and the completion of statutory and tax returns including VAT, gift aid and Charity Commission filing
