The new Director of Development will be responsible for creating and implementing a new phase of the College’s fundraising strategy and leading a small team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising leadership and will have significant experience in securing major philanthropic gifts. They will be an excellent communicator who is committed to the College’s goals and ethos, and able to articulate its vision in a compelling manner. They are likely to have held senior fundraising roles in the higher education, cultural or not-for-profit sector, and will be comfortable at working across the collegiate structure of the University of Cambridge.
