Copy and Content: Writing in the tone suitable for each business line’s brand style, target audience and selected media channels (websites, social media, emails, blogs, marketing materials, news releases, brochures, video content and editing) Research: Research subject’s features, USPS, marketplace, benefits, and competition and monitor competitor activity by researching their output and tracking content developments on their platforms Creative production and distribution: Create engaging content that encourages customer participation from a range of sources, assist in image and video content, and work with the marketing team to distribute content across appropriate channels Accuracy: Proofread all work for acceptable grammar standards, be accountable for researching and verifying accuracy of copy, and ensure output complies with legal guidelines Measurement: Measure success of content via the following: Web traffic / bounce rate Share of voice / Advertising Value Equivalence (AVE) SEO rankings Backlinks Email list growth Mentions Qualified leads / referrals Social engagement / shares
Previous marketing / copywriting experience (in internet retail, marketing or advertising) or Marketing degree Advanced IT skills, e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In-design, Premier Pro) Strong video editing skills
