We are looking for committed and enthusiastic Assistant Web Developers (job title Assistant Interactive Media Developers) to help turn our teaching ideas into engaging online educational resources. You will support the design and development of a range of accessible online activities, such as online experiments, interactive maps, timelines, data visualisations and language learning tools.

As part of a multidisciplinary team including academics, editors, graphic designers, film makers and software testers, your interactive content will form part of our online teaching material which is delivered to thousands of students worldwide.

A good understanding of current and emerging web technologies plus an appreciation of how technology can enhance learning experiences would be an advantage.

• Higher education qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Familiarity with JSON and XML
• Awareness of mobile-first development and responsive design
• Completing a project within an agreed time/budget framework
• Ability to work as part of a team
