Supporting the delivery of the events and sponsorship programme
Working with the wider marketing and sales team to ensure other channels amplify attendance at events
Reviewing industry and sector events for the next financial year to identify opportunities and optimise the events strategy
Planning and managing internal events such as the sales conference, team building events, Christmas party etc
Supporting delivery of the PR strategy including being the day-to-day contact for the PR agency
Management of the content and social media strategy including the creation of case studies and insight pieces to support the PR agenda
Pro-actively looking for opportunities for the company to have a voice on critical issues such as the impact the energy crisis is having on schools
Establish key working relationships and interactions with the Group Marketing team, Sales teams and Account Management teams, Senior Leadership team and external PR/Marketing agencies
Requirements :
Some travel will be required for this role, so you must have a valid UK drivers’ licence and access to a vehicle
Degree in a relevant subject (Marketing, PR, Journalism, English, Creative Writing, or similar)
An outstanding communicator in both written and verbal methods
Passionate about using the latest PR and social trends to inspire potential and existing customers
Highly organised with an ability to multi-task
Motivated, confident and a very high level of attention to detail
Ability to work independently and use own initiative
Passionate about sustainability and making net zero a reality
