Support the provision of specialist technologies and products under the Collection Product Line.
Ensuring applications remain current, secure, flexible, and fit for purpose and are configured in accordance with best practice to provide positive customer experiences.
Support the planning, prioritisation and delivery of the Collection technology projects to continuously drive positive change.
Work with the Collection Products Line Manager to ensure the effective resolution of major incidents and problems affecting the technologies and products.
Requirements :
Experience with specialist Collection and Library technologies e.g., Alma, Sierra, Calm.
Demonstrable service and system management skills especially around system updates, upgrades and new developments
Experience providing first and second-line technical support for specialist Library and Archive technologies.
Experience of working with systems suppliers. Including managing tickets and escalating incidents to third parties on external support portals
Knowledge of current trends in technology and systems developments affecting libraries and the cultural sector
Will contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments
