Preparation of asset investment planning/programming to determine scope of the programme of works and budgets over the next 7 years.
Produce programmes for major works and mechanical and electrical teams from inception to completion.
Undertake site visits to agree or validate necessity and accuracy of contractor and consultant work proposals/schedules/programmes (Time and resource).
Create, maintain, review and administer construction schedules and plans
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and the Council to ensure effective service provision and achievement of corporate objectives, including contributing to business and service planning, risk management and business continuity.
Requirements :
You will be experienced in capital investment/Major construction/refurbishment and Mechanical and Electrical projects.
You will be accustomed to forecasting problems as early as possible, enabling corrective action to be taken; having good analytical skills with the ability to work with figures and statistics, consider options appraisals and make informed decisions.
Ability to produce high level programmes using MS Project, as well as preparing programme project reports.
