Ensure compliance with security policies such as ensuring passes are visible and checked to ensure validity, when necessary, stopping, and challenging non-pass holders found in restricted areas.
Conduct bag, body and vehicle searches for unauthorised items and take the appropriate action where illegal, unauthorised, or prohibited items are found.
Operate x-ray machines and other related search equipment, ensuring you are trained and qualified to carry out this role competently
Respond to CCTV and alarm activations, working with the Security Operations Centre to resolve and or mitigate the issue.
Patrol buildings and perimeters ensuring the infrastructure and fabric of the building is secure.
