We are seeking a Visiting Lecturer in Criminology. Topics to be taught include core criminological theory and concepts, police and policing, youth and crime, equality and social justice, punishment and social control and media and crime.
You will undertake all duties associated with teaching, including supervision and assessment of students and engaging in teaching planning and preparation.
You’ll be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent qualification in a relevant field and you will have experience of teaching in a higher education setting within the UK. You’ll have strong communication and presentation skills along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
Teaching will include 5 modules over two terms. 6 hours per week in Autumn and 9 hours per week in Spring.
