1. Proven ability of using analytics tools to define and improve user journeys and guide decision making

2. Experience of using data analysis in experiments including AB testing / multi-variate testing

3. Experience of using digital analytics APIs

4. Experience with search engine optimisation tools

5. A solid understanding of data visualisation tools (i.e., Tableau or Power BI)

6. A solid understanding of data security and privacy and keep up to date with data protection regulations

7. Can apply the Government Service Standards in particular their approach to performance data

8. Experience of effectively managing relationships with stakeholders including influencing and challenging decisions that don’t meet user need

9. Evidence of continuing professional development and expert knowledge in relevant professional area

10. Experience of working at pace using agile methods to understand user behaviour.
