Description :
  • Proactively manage major accounts identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with libraries and key stakeholders using a consultative sales approach to align prospective subscribers needs with the functionality available through our clients’ solutions
  • Provide product demonstration support to customers
  • Support the RFI tender submission process for all solutions offered
  • Represent the organisation at conferences, exhibitions and seminars where appropriate Hold monthly review meetings with key accounts
  • Keep up to date with latest trends and technological advancements in libraries, particularly focusing on higher education
  • Ensure you have up to date product knowledge and developments.
Requirements :

Suitable candidates will have previous sales experience working with Library Technology, Publishing or a similar field. Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal colleagues and prospective customers and excellent presentation and communication skills will be necessary for this role. Experience of CRM systems such as Salesforce is essential. A Bachelor’s degree in library sciences or a related field and an understanding of how cloud computing can be used by libraries, and what practical considerations there are before moving into cloud solutions is desired but not essential.
