To be an active member of the team participating in the duty rota, attending and contributing to team meetings and service development tasks.
Operate successfully in a wide range of organisational contexts complying with departmental policies and procedures.
Respond and liaise with the public, professionals and colleagues using appropriate methods of communication, recording as required on the appropriate system.
Identify the impact of adult mental ill health, substance misuse, domestic abuse, physical ill health and disability on family functioning and social circumstances and the effect on children.
To ensure that where it is in keeping with their welfare children return home within agreed timescales.
To work with the complex arrangements (with parents, permanent carers, children and other agencies) where children need a permanent placement either with relatives or other carers.
Requirements :
Social Work England registration and Social Work qualification are required for this role.
