This role will oversee ongoing development of the site, working with our external website agency, and will manage the content of the site itself, working closely with the School’s team of content editors, to whom they will provide expert support and training. The role will develop and integrate relevant analytics tools, using them to provide insight to the Marketing team and to inform future development of the site; and manage SEO and tag management to ensure the site’s context is maximised in search and supports the team’s digital campaign activity. The postholder is expected to provide expert knowledge and intelligence on website and SEO trends to ensure Guildhall School is at the forefront in its use of digital platforms in a marketing context.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing a website from a content/user experience perspective, ideally in an arts or higher education context, with the ability to manage a CMS for a large/complex organisational site. They’ll have a good level of proficiency in analytics software, good working knowledge of SEO, and experience of managing competing development priorities, including the ability to engage with and manage requests from internal stakeholders appropriately.
