• Development of the strategy and strategic roadmap for the Centre together with the College Advancement team.
• Creating Centre branding together with the College Branding team
• Organising a Centre launch event
• Building a network of researchers across the School of Public Health and the wider College as members of the Mohn Centre.
• Responsibility for identifying funding opportunities for the Centre and its researchers, by horizon scanning for funding calls, working with the Imperial College Advancement Team, and liaising with funders; and supporting researchers in applying for these funds by coordinating funding applications and preparing supporting written material/costings for funding applications
• Responsibility for managing the Centre’s Communications Strategy, directing its programme of public engagement, communications and outreach activities, as well as developing and updating the Centre website and managing its social media presence.

You will be educated to Masters or doctorate level in a scientific discipline, or have equivalent experience. You should have experience of setting up and/or managing a research Centre/Institute/Network or a similar initiative. You should have experience or an interest in working to improve the health of children and young people. You will have experience in developing strategy, building networks of people, managing communications, identifying research funding opportunities, supporting funding applications and report writing. You will understand the academic environment.
